A smart developer Pavlo (Paul) Buidenkov developed an App that lets users wirelessly connect any device as their second screen. Paul made this possible and developed Deskreen an up to the mark solution to have second screen for your PC.
Paul said that “It all started when he wanted to use his iPad as a second screen for his Macbook. But then he noticed he cannot connect mac with an outdated iPad, so he may need to buy a new iPad”. Paul searched & tried many Free solutions but they were not as per his requirements. Then he decided to develop Deskreen.

How to Connect Deskreen
Step1:
Scan the QR Code or Type a link provided by the Deskreen into web browser. This will open a connection dialog page, see following screenshot:
Step 2:
Now click on allow and select a display source you want to share with other device. You will have two options/display sources: Share entire screen or share an application window.
Suppose we selected Application window, then it will ask you to select a window to share. Now it will lead you to next step. However if you selected Share Entire Screen, then you will need Dummy Display Plug.
Step 3:
This step is not even a step, you will need to hit confirm button and you are done!
How to connect more than one Devices with Deskreen?
If you want to share more than one devices then you will need to make sure that you followed all the above steps. After that in the step 3 you will see connect new device button. Click on that button and follow all the steps again to connect new device with Deskreen.
Deskreen not working in Mac?
You will need to provide screen recording permission to Deskreen. In MacOS go to Security & privacy > Privacy > Screen Recording & select Deskreen.
Deskreen not working in Windows?
Don’t worry, Deskreen is yet not code signed which means any antivirus will consider it as a threat for your computer. You will need to add Deskreen as an exception in your Antivirus / malware protection program. Also, add ‘Local Network Access’ for Deskreen on first start.
